Reaching Out

Below is a wonderful book which I received in the mail from a man in N.J. named Lawrence Danks. He wrote to me and explained that his sister lives near me here in Michigan and read a recent newspaper article about Be Kind to Humankind Week. Mr. Danks wrote a book about the benefits of being kind to others, and took the time to reach out to me and give me one of his books! I was so surprised and happy that Mr. Danks thought of me! I am reading his book now and I am enjoying it very much. If you would like to order his book (pictured below) you can find it on Amazon.com and Barnes and Nobles. What a kind thing to do Mr. Danks…Thank you so much!!!

Lorraine,
Thank you for the kind mention of my book “Your Unfinished Life”. Your kindness initiative is just what I’m trying to encourage others to do in thir own way, using their own special talents. Even small kindnesses can have great effects. I keep the quote you wrote to me in front of me so I see it each morning when I start to work trying to let others know about the book:
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due saeson we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9.
Writing books is the easy part. Selling them is something else. My intention in selling more books is not to make money, but to be able to continue to extend the effort to promote kindness and happiness into the future. Every purchase of the book through Amazon,Barnes and Noble,Powell’s and others helps support the effort. I am appreciative to those who have already purchased the book in helping me to sustain the success of the book.
Best wishes,
Larry Danks
Hi Larry!
Thank you for writing. I am happy to be able to help in promoting your book. We share a mutual interest and that is spreading the word of being kind!!! I am also glad that the bible scripture which I chose for you has been an inspiration. God is certainly always there for us helping us along the way.
