Passing Friendships….

not_afraid_by_shoothead_at_flickr

Old friendships are like old songs.
They can either fit in with our
changing lifestyle and thoughts,
or be placed upon a shelf…
save for a few meaningful lyrics.

Sail Away Unafraid…

kindclipsbk2hksailboat

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.

Mark Twain

Keep Your Promises.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

How You Can Help

Here are a few suggestions on how to promote Be Kind To Humankind Week in your area:

Call Your Local Radio Station

Phone a few of your local radio stations and ask to speak directly to the DJ and tell he/she about BK2HK and that you were wondering if they could announce the event and its dates of celebration. You can do the same with your local newspapers, and schools, giving all of them BK2HK’s web site, (www.bk2hk.org) address so they can check it out for themselves.

Promote BK2HK at Work

If your corporation has a monthly or weekly bulletin or paper, you can ask the editor if they will announce the event in the publication.

Organize and Hold a Marathon

You can hold a BK2HK fund raiser in your area, perhaps a marathon walk and have the money collected and donated to an organization that you’d like to help. Contact the organization first, ask permission to hold a fundraiser in celebration of Be Kind to Humankind Week, and then go for it!
